This trip has made it very clear that I am wrong; we do in fact fund entrepreneurs. A few stories: 1Well is a nonprofit that facilitates the connection between socially conscious individuals, groups, and businesses – Citizen Philanthropists – with communities in high need areas of the world. Together, these Citizen Philanthropists and communities partner to build critical life-sustaining projects – wells, toilets, childcare centers – that address basic needs and create a more self-reliant future.
